TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS AROUND THE VALLEY
Menomonee Valley Partners (MVP) collaborates with the City of Milwaukee, State of Wisconsin, and others to accomplish shared goals for a revitalized, sustainable Menomonee River Valley for the benefit of the greater Milwaukee area.
MVP is currently working to ensure that transportation projects being implemented by the City and State do well to foster and strengthen links between adjacent communities and the Valley’s employment opportunities, recreation destinations, restored natural resources, and environmental education.

I-94 East-West
Between 16th & 70th Streets in Milwaukee County.
Design Charrette
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 27, 3:30-6:30 PM
CONCORDIA 27, 801 N. 27th STREET
The I-94 East-West project includes a proposed lid over the interstate at 26th St. and St. Paul Ave.
Community input is essential to ensure that the proposed lid - the first lid structure in Wisconsin - is recognized as a critical connection point between residential and commercial zones in the Near West Side and significant economic and ecological destinations in the Valley.
Join MVP, Near West Side Partners (NWSP), and HGA Architects in a community charrette to create design concepts to improve the intersection’s accessibility, safety, and aesthetics and strengthen the tie between the residents, businesses, employers, organizations, visitors, and destinations on each side of the interstate.
