It’s hard to believe that it’s been 25 years since we started Menomonee Valley Partners (MVP). Starting and leading MVP has been one of the greatest challenges, and one of the most satisfying efforts, of my 45 year real estate career.

The physical transformation is overwhelming, and the new jobs and activities have given Milwaukee a needed boost. They are pretty much what we planned, but I don’t think that any of us expected so much to have happened so soon.

The Valley has become such an interesting combination of modern industry, tourist/entertainment destinations, recreational facilities, and environmental restoration that it’s easy to overlook the many people from all walks of life who worked together for so long to make this all happen. Government at all levels, businesses large and small, and interested community members forged an amazing coalition that continues to function well today.

MVP continues to inspire.
